Syria strongly condemned the unprecedented and dangerous escalation by the Israeli occupation authorities in the occupied Syrian Golan and their persistence in settlement practices and systematic and physical violations, which amount to war crimes, the latest of which was the provocative and blatant act of the Prime Minister of the Israeli enemy holding a meeting of all members of his government in the occupied Golan with the aim of doubling the number of settlers there.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stressed, in a statement that SANA received a copy of, that the occupied Syrian Golan, in the eyes of international legitimacy and international law, is an integral part of the Syrian territory, which will work to return it completely to the homeland and by all available means guaranteed by international law as it is an eternal right that does not fall into a statute of limitations and a constitutional duty for the Syrian state .
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates added: The Syrian government renews its firm and strong support for its Syrian citizens, the people of the occupied Syrian Golan, who are steadfast in their resistance to the Israeli occupation and their rejection of the decision to annex the Golan to the occupation entity and the policy of seizing land and property carried out by the occupation authorities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants stressed that the reckless provocative Israeli behavior would not have reached this extent without the protection provided to it by successive American administrations since its commission of the annexation crime in 1981, and these administrations do not value the principles of international law when it comes to protecting them against Israel’s violations of force occupying list.
