The branch of the Syrian Establishment for Trade in As-Suwayda launched an estimated quantity of about 3 tons of white and red meat in the city hall at discounted prices from the market.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Rabie Ghanem, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the quantities offered come within the framework of the positive intervention of the Foundation, and include whole chicken meat in addition to pieces of cutlets and roses, as well as meat from sheep, roasted veal, habra and sheep, pointing out that meat will continue to be used in the coming days.
For his part, the director of the City Hall for Vegetables and Fruits, Mamoun Al-Aqel, indicated in a similar statement that the hall has rented since the beginning of this month more than 15 tons of red and white meat and witnessed a demand for purchase from citizens in line with the provision of a variety of vegetables and fruits in the hall on a daily basis at prices lower than the market .
