Minutes after the first rumors about the writer's finding that his name was linked to lifeless sex offenses, two tweets were posted in Velder's name on Twitter • "I'm blessed by God," the fake account said • Surfers were furious:

A few minutes after the first rumors began to circulate on social media that the writer Haim Velder had ended his life, a Twitter account was published on a Twitter account bearing the author's name, claiming that he was still alive.

In the account "Haim Velder" which also bears the image of the writer, it is claimed that "I am blessed by God."

About ten minutes later the fake profile quoted the verse "I will not die because I live."

Although not many followers subscribe to the account, both tweets were quickly circulated on social media and their photos were posted on many WhatsApp and Facebook groups.

But a quick check of the account clearly shows that it is a fake account.

At the top of the profile it is clearly stated that this is a "Pike" account, meaning fake.

The surfers, for their part, were furious at the blatant insensitivity.

"A man is murdered and that's what you do, open Pike accounts," an angry surfer named Rafi said, then added: "Relax mentally ill, human animal."

Zeev, another surfer, was also angry: "Dancing on the blood. You are a wicked man. Delete this false account, or at least this tweet. People are distributing the screenshot of you and proving that he did not commit suicide. Ugh."

Were we wrong?
