At about 11 am today (28th), at a unit on the 10th floor of Zhuquan Building, Shuiquanao Village, Shatin, a woman reported that her 2-and-a-half-year-old son had fallen from the building.
Rescuers arrived. The boy was sober and uninjured. He was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital for further examination.
The police are investigating the reason for the boy’s fall from the building. Sources at the scene stated that the boy had fallen from a window with a clothes drying rack. Fortunately, there was a sloping grass directly underneath. It is suspected that the boy fell straight into the grass and unloaded after flying out of the window from the 10th floor. Part of the impact force, no blood was seen on the concrete floor at the scene.
