The Israeli police opened an investigation into a shooting incident that took place today (Tuesday) in the locality of Nahaf in the north, during which Rafat Othman Abbas, 20, from the locality, was killed.
The background to the incident is most likely a conflict between criminals.
The message was received at the 100 hotline of the police about a shooting incident in an open area in Nahaf.
As a result of the shooting, a resident of the Abbasid community, a young man in his 20s, was fatally wounded and was taken to Galil Hospital in Nahariya.
Israeli police officers rushed to the scene, located the scene, collected findings and conducted investigative actions to locate the suspects in the shooting.
The background to the incident is apparently criminal in the context of a conflict between criminals.
The Galilee Medical Center stated: "A man in his 20s was brought to the center by Hayan (emergency medical services) from the village, in a critical condition, with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Upon his arrival, his death was determined by the doctors.
