The head of the Middle East Center at the Czech Metropolitan University, Brzeslav Toricic, affirmed that the West claims to be fighting terrorism, while during its operations it kills civilians in Syria, which constitutes a war crime.
In an interview with Czech Radio, Toricek said that "according to various indicators, war crimes have occurred in Syria by Western countries, led by the United States, in the name of combating terrorism... The tragic thing is that world public opinion did not know this information until now," pointing out that "many in Western countries They are constantly surprised by where the hatred in the Middle East against the West stems from, because they basically do not know the truth about what is happening there in crimes under flimsy pretexts such as fighting terrorism and others.”
Toricic pointed out that "Western officials who commit war crimes in Syria will not be punished, as happened in many crimes committed in Iraq and other countries in the region and were overlooked, although what happened in many cases were barbaric acts."
