Five people were killed and three others wounded in a shooting in Denver, the capital of the US state of Colorado.
And the Associated Press quoted the American city police as saying today, "Five people were killed, including a police officer, and three others were wounded in an exchange of fire in the Lakewood commercial area in Denver," noting that investigations are still ongoing to determine the cause of the shooting.
Shooting incidents are common in the United States of America, with the spread of a culture of violence in American society and the ease of possession of individual weapons.
