Of the three local crew members involved in the announcement, one of them went to the United States via flight CX844 on December 21. The virus disease test conducted on December 17 before leaving Hong Kong was negative.

He arrived in Hong Kong on December 24 via flight CX841 from the United States. When he arrived in Hong Kong, he tested negative at the temporary sample collection center.

He tested negative for viral diseases in Hong Kong on December 14 and then left Hong Kong for the United States on December 22.

The patient was subsequently subjected to medical surveillance and regular mandatory testing in accordance with relevant exemption regulations. The test result at the community testing center on the 27th was initially positive. He has no symptoms and a Ct value of less than 30, involving N501Y and T478K mutant virus strains.

Epidemiological investigations revealed that he had contact with the above-mentioned first crew member at home on December 25.

He received two doses of Fubital vaccine in Hong Kong on May 29 and June 19.
