Of the three local crew members involved in the announcement, one of them went to the United States via flight CX844 on December 21. The virus disease test conducted on December 17 before leaving Hong Kong was negative.
He arrived in Hong Kong on December 24 via flight CX841 from the United States. When he arrived in Hong Kong, he tested negative at the temporary sample collection center.
He tested positive at the community testing center on December 26. He began to develop headaches, runny nose and cough on the same day, with a Ct value of about 16-22.
The other crew member went to the United States via flight CX840 on December 23. The viral disease test results conducted on December 18 and 21 before leaving Hong Kong were negative.
He arrived in Hong Kong via flight CX843 from the United States on December 25. He tested negative at the temporary sample collection center when he arrived, and tested positive at the community testing center on December 27.
He is asymptomatic and his Ct value is about 31-33.
The 44-year-old male crew member had contact with another infected crew member
The other is a 44-year-old male crew member who lives in Block 1, Jiayue Peninsula, 1 Hang Kwai Street, Tuen Mun.
He tested negative for viral diseases in Hong Kong on December 14 and then left Hong Kong for the United States on December 22.
He arrived in Hong Kong on December 25 via flight CX2807 from the United States. When he arrived in Hong Kong, he tested negative at the temporary sample collection center.
The patient was subsequently subjected to medical surveillance and regular mandatory testing in accordance with relevant exemption regulations. The test result at the community testing center on the 27th was initially positive. He has no symptoms and a Ct value of less than 30, involving N501Y and T478K mutant virus strains.
Epidemiological investigations revealed that he had contact with the above-mentioned first crew member at home on December 25.
He received two doses of Fubital vaccine in Hong Kong on May 29 and June 19.
A 15-year-old female patient lives in Block 6, The Belcher's, Pokfulam
The announcement involves a 15-year-old female patient living in Block 6, The Belcher's, Pokfulam.
She went to the United States on December 15.
She took flight CX893 from the United States and arrived in Hong Kong on December 26. When she arrived in Hong Kong, she took a sample at the temporary sample collection center of Hong Kong International Airport and the test result was negative.
According to the regulations for persons arriving in Hong Kong from the designated areas (high risk) of Enhanced Surveillance Group A, she was quarantined at the Penny's Bay Quarantine Center for the first four days, during which the sample on December 27 was initially positive.
The patient developed symptoms on December 28.
She received two doses of Fubital vaccine in Hong Kong on June 19 and July 10.

Those included in the mandatory inspection notice must be tested on or before December 30 unless they have been tested between December 26 and 28.
