Reports in Syria: Israel attacks the port of Latakia for the second time this month
State television reported that the air force was attacking the area, for the second time this month, and Syria's air defense systems were activated.
This is an unusual attack as the port is located near the base of the Russian Air Force.
Following the attack, a fire was reported that broke out in the compound.

Israel has attacked the port of Latakia in northwestern Syria, Syrian television reported tonight (Tuesday).
This is an unusual attack since the area is home to a Russian Air Force base and it is also Israel's second attack this month in the port area.
According to the report, the attack caused a fire in the container storage area at the site.
No casualties were reported in the attack.
