The "Hong Kong New Year's Eve Countdown Concert" hosted by the Tourism Board will be held on Friday (31st) New Year's Eve. The performing singers include the popular boy group MIRROR.

The concert will be broadcast live simultaneously, and the new year will be shared with the global audience.

In order to facilitate the ticket-holding audience to participate in the concert and welcome the new year, West Kowloon will implement crowd control and special traffic arrangements on New Year's Eve.

However, the number of audiences at the concert is limited. I believe that many MIRROR fans still hope to go to the periphery of the venue to listen to the concert from a distance.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board: Visitors must have real-name tickets and mobile phones

The large lawn of the West Kowloon Art Park has set up a stage and placed seats today.

The HKTB reminds that visitors must hold real-name tickets, ID cards with the same name as the tickets, and mobile phones equipped with "Travel with Peace", but they do not need to carry pin cards.

At that time, after verifying the above information, the audience will be given an orange paper hand strap.

The venue will be open 2 hours before the start of the performance, and there will be multiple tents for rest. Each entry is limited to 1 person

According to the HKTB, the concert venue will be open 2 hours before the start, that is, from 8 pm to ensure that the audience has plenty of time to enter the venue.

The auditorium will be divided into 6 areas, with 1 vacant seat for every 6 people apart. There are also multiple tents outside the venue for the audience to rest and drink. The maximum number of people is 1 person.

A 2-meter-high black screen on the outside of the field prevents the public from trying to gather outside to watch

The HKTB continued that the footpath outside the concert venue will be closed and used as an emergency road; and the venue will also be blocked by a 2-meter-high black screen to prevent the public from trying to gather outside to watch.

West Kowloon waterfront and grassland remain open, concert singing can be heard

However, after visual observation by reporters on the spot, citizens who could not get tickets, especially fans of MIRROR, still had the opportunity to "eavesdrop."

Although the periphery of the concert venue will be closed that night, the waterfront and grasslands of West Kowloon will remain open.

On the same day, the crowd control measures were implemented from 4 o'clock, that is, citizens must avoid crowds and enter the West Kowloon Cultural District early. As long as they successfully set foot in the area and reach a location near the venue, it means that the "beach grab" is successful.

·From 6 pm (or implemented in advance according to the number of visitors), one-way crowd control will be implemented: the public going to the art park must enter through the green space of Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Austin Road West, and only the West Kowloon Waterfront You can leave at the entrance of Langxi Gate.

The Museum Road and Cultural Road will be closed, and only licensed vehicles can enter and exit.

·From midnight onwards, members of the public can leave via the West Gate entrance of the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade or Museum Road.

When the police lift the road closures in the West Kowloon District, Museum Road and Cultural Road will reopen.
