The two involved in the case were temporarily released on bail for defense of the former manager of the small chef of the Yiyun Roasting Restaurant on Thursday.
The persons involved in the case include Yang Yonghong, a 41-year-old former manager of the 囍运, and Lin Weixiong, a 63-year-old former deputy manager of the 囍雲运, who are responsible for the daily operations of the 囍运, including hiring part-time waiters and compiling their monthly duty schedules.
They were also charged with four counts of conspiracy to defraud and violated the common law. They have been granted bail by the ICAC, pending a plea in the Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on Thursday (30th).
At the time of the case, the company was operated by Baiyu Investment Co., Ltd. (Boyu), and the part-time waiter of the company was required to record the commuting time on the clock machine with his attendance record card (commonly known as "punch-in").
Yang Yonghong must collect the attendance record card of the part-time waiter at the end of each month and hand it to Bai Yu for salary calculation.

The charge alleges that Yang Yonghong and Lin Weixiong were suspected of conspiring to defraud Bai Yu from April 1 to August 31, 2020, that is, falsely claiming that the attendance records of four part-time waiters accurately reflect their attendance hours. As a result, Baiyu calculated and issued payments based on these duty records.
