The short feature film, Photograph, directed by film director Mohannad Kalthoum and produced by the General Film Organization, won three awards through its participation in three international festivals in Morocco.
Photograph, at the conclusion of the International Film Festival Bridges Creativity in Casablanca, won the Grand Prix for the best integrated short fiction film, the Male Diagnostic Award for the Best Actor, shared equally between the two film heroes, Suleiman Al-Ahmad and Ghaleb Shandouba, at the International Festival of Oasis Cinema, and the Grand Prize for the Best Short Narrative Film at the Casa International Film Festival for Migration and Integration. in Casablanca.
The events of the photograph, which were produced in 2020, revolve around the effects of the war on Syria and on the Syrian child in particular, as a result of the phenomenon of child labor that forces them to leave their studies and work to help support their families.
In a statement to SANA, the director of the work expressed his happiness with these awards, which he won. He has previously participated in many Arab and local festivals and won many awards, especially as he talks about the children's category, considering that this success represents the Syrian cinema that deserves prosperity, brilliance, and access to the world.
It is noteworthy that the film for which the script was written by Buthaina Naissa, starring each of the artists (Suleiman Al-Ahmad - Ghaleb Shandoba - Jamal Al-Ali - Sufouh Mimas - Etab Abu Saada).
