An armed man attacked an office of the pro-Kurdish HDP in Istanbul.
Two members of the party were injured, said the party's spokesman in Istanbul, Cüneyt Karabey, on Tuesday to the dpa news agency.
The attacker was arrested.
Karabey said the man, armed with two pistols and a knife, entered the office in Istanbul's Bahcelievler district around noon on the pretext of wanting to join the party.
After the unsuccessful attempt to fire his weapon, he injured a party member with his knife and fled.
Another man was slightly injured when the attacker poured hot tea on him.
The police later discovered the alleged perpetrator in a nearby bakery where he wanted to hide.
Trial of alleged murderers in Izmir is set to begin soon
In June, a party employee was killed in an attack on an HDP office in the western Turkish city of Izmir.
The HDP blamed the government for the incident and accused it of targeting the party for months.
The trial of the alleged killer is due to begin on Wednesday.
The HDP is the third largest force in the Turkish parliament.
The Turkish government repeatedly takes action against the party.
She accuses the HDP, among other things, of connections to the banned Kurdish workers' party PKK.
The HDP rejects these allegations.
Numerous party members are in jail.
The Turkish General Prosecutor's Office tried this year to obtain a ban from the Constitutional Court.
The reason given was, among other things, that HDP members had intended with their statements and actions to undermine the integrity of the state.
The public prosecutor's office accuses the HDP of "terrorist" activities.
