The epidemiologist and virologist Klaus Stöhr, former WHO pandemic officer, is encouraging a discussion about a more appropriate parameter for assessing the coronavirus pandemic.

Incidence in Germany increases slightly to 222.7 - but how much does it say?
In Germany, more than seven million corona infections have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the total number on Monday morning (December 27, as of 03.25 a.m.) as 7,005,289.
The actual number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected and therefore not recorded.
The nationwide seven-day incidence rose slightly to 222.7 compared to the previous day (previous day: 220.7).
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at 6,156,500.
The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 110,433.
