The authorities want to better supervise their sale.
Just a week ago, a decree published in
the Official Journal
set new methods of purchasing certain pyrotechnic devices by putting pressure on distributors.
It punishes with a fine of 1000 euros any business guilty of
"not reporting suspicious transactions"
concerning fireworks of the F2 and F3 category.
Pyrotechnic devices available over the counter to a major public who, overwhelmingly, buy this type of item for festive purposes to celebrate a wedding, an anniversary or even… the transition to the New Year.
