The police today (29th) arrested 6 current or former senior executives of Position News, including former editor-in-chief Zhong Peiquan, acting editor-in-chief Lin Shaotong, former directors Zhou Dazhi, Wu Aiyi, Fang Minsheng, and He Yunshi for allegedly violating the Criminal Offences Ordinance "Articles 9 and 10 conspiracy to publish seditious publications; also asked Deputy Interview Director Chen Langsheng to assist in the investigation.
The police also dispatched 200 officers in military uniforms and plainclothes to search the "Stance News" office in Kwun Tong and seized about 30 boxes of items, including documents and computers.
