The Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, approved the recommendation of the Economic Committee, which included supporting the proposal of the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources to finance 14 development and service projects to be implemented in Deir ez-Zor through the Deir ez-Zor Fund for Development.
The projects include the maintenance of 20 schools, the rehabilitation of the Deir ez-Zor City Council building in a second phase, the purchase of furniture and a telephone exchange to complete the work and equipping of the Justice Palace, the rehabilitation of 20 shops in the Al-Bukamal city launch center, the purchase of equipment for the benefit of the cultural center in the governorate, and the Port Said Street project back and forth from Al-Dalla Roundabout Until the Faculty of Mechanics is a first stage, and from the Faculty of Mechanics to the Airport Roundabout is a second stage.
The projects also include the rehabilitation of the central island from Al-Dalla roundabout to the airport roundabout, a project to create natural spring water for the benefit of the Governorate’s General Secretariat, and securing a number of transformers with different capacities for the bakeries, the Water Corporation and the Electricity Company.
