The IPS will pay compensation to Neria Zarog, married and a father of three and a resident of the Geulat Zion outpost in Binyamin, as part of a compromise agreement between the parties, after he sued the organization for a search of an illegal abstraction.

The IPS claimed that the search did not take place at all, since there was no registration of it, but nevertheless agreed to reach a settlement, in which the lawsuit will be rejected.

Advocate Menashe Yado from the Honno organization: "The defendant (IPS) claimed that there was no search of the naked, since every search of the naked was recorded in the diary, and the fact that there is no such record denies the claim that a naked search took place. It is canceled as part of a compromise, and the payment contains a confession. "

The illegal search was carried out about two and a half years ago, at the entrance to the detention center in Jerusalem.

Despite Zarog's strong opposition to the search, he was not given a hearing as required by law, and was forced to undergo a search in full abstraction after being subjected to an illegal threat to use force.

The lawsuit filed by Advocate Yado states that "the threat was illegal because no hearing was conducted as required, and in the absence of a hearing - no authority arose to conduct a nude search."

The search was conducted after Zarog was arrested at his residence at 4:30 p.m.

According to the prosecution, there was no reason to assume that he possessed objects related to the commission of the offense.

Zarug also underwent a search in partial abstraction, and a magnetometer test upon arrest, and has since been in the continuous custody of police officers and / or wardens.

The IPS responded: "The lawsuit against the IPS has been rejected. The IPS is committed to the settlement agreement that was presented."
