Collapse of a building in Pieve a Nievole (Pistoia) around 5:45 am.
According to what was explained by the firefighters, who intervened with the detachment of Montecatini and a ladder truck of the headquarters, upon their arrival the residents were apparently unharmed outside the house: they were in any case entrusted to the care of health personnel.
There is also a team of the fire brigade dog-loving unit on site to avoid the hypothesis of other people inside the building: they are not currently missing according to what has been learned.
Two carabinieri patrols also intervened.
The causes of the collapse are being investigated.
The two occupants of the two-storey building that collapsed in Pieve a Nievole (Pistoia) were only slightly injured.
Among the causes of the accident, the firefighters do not rule out an LPG gas leak.
The people involved are mother and son, respectively 90 and 52 years old, who at the time of the collapse were on the ground floor, in the kitchen, and went out unscathed outside the house: the greatest damage was recorded to the roof and to the upper floor.
The property was placed under seizure.
