The environmental protection policies that the Environment Bureau is responsible for are inconsistent, causing "ecological disasters" from time to time. The Longweitan incident is a typical example, and it also fully reflects the general public's incomprehension of ecological conservation.
Interestingly, the environmental protection awareness of Hong Kong citizens is not weak. More than ninety adults agree that "it is everyone's responsibility to protect the environment." However, many people do not know how to protect the environment and are unwilling to implement environmental conservation.
In the final analysis, there is still a problem with our environmental education.
