Samper says Duque should "make concessions" 0:50
(CNN Spanish) -
The former president of Colombia Ernesto Samper reported this Tuesday through Twitter that he underwent surgery in which they placed a pacemaker and that he is recovering satisfactorily.
The 71-year-old ex-president said in his publication that the surgical procedure derives from emergency check-ups that he had to undergo and which he performed at the Fundación Cardio Infantil in Bogotá.
"Thanks to the staff of @ fcardioinfantil for their professionalism and attention, and thanks to those who have sent me their expressions of solidarity and affection," he wrote.
