For the first time since August 26th, no Covid sufferer has to be ventilated at the Erding Clinic.

The number of infections is relatively constant.

The district office reported 54 new infections in the Erding district on Wednesday, a week earlier there were 44. According to official information from the Robert Koch Institute, the seven-day incidence was 179.3 (previous day: 189.4).

There are currently six patients infected with the corona virus at the Erding Clinic.

Of these, three people between the ages of 50 and 77 are being treated with Covid in the intensive care unit.

Nobody is ventilated.

The patient, who previously had to be ventilated, no longer needs mechanical support.

"For the first time since August 26th, in other words for over four months, no Covid-19 patient has to be ventilated at the Erding Clinic," he says happily

The disaster control management group met for the last time this year on Wednesday, and thus achieved a small anniversary: ​​it was the 75th situation meeting that the FüGK held in 2021.

"I would also like to thank the members of the disaster control management group for their commitment," said District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer.

So far, a total of 217 070 vaccinations have been administered in the Erding district.

A total of 579 people were vaccinated on Tuesday.

92,600 people in the district are already fully vaccinated, around 67.1 percent of the district's population.

For those over twelve, the vaccination rate is 75.8 percent.

Around 37,900 people have received a booster vaccination so far.

The number of those who have recovered is 14,269. This means that 471 people are currently infected. There are currently 844 people in quarantine. Due to positive corona tests, quarantine was ordered in the FOS / BOS Erding (25 students), Montessori elementary school (23 students, 2 teachers) and in the St. Wolfgang elementary school (1 student).  

Since Tuesday, 54 new cases have been added to the confirmed corona cases in the Erding district.

According to the district office, they are between seven and 67 years old.

A week ago, the district authority had registered 44 cases.

The number of confirmed cases increases to 14,893. The new reports come from Erding (13), Finsing and Oberding (6 each), Langenpreising (5), Eitting, Moosinning, Neuching, Pastetten and Taufkirchen (3 each), Lengdorf, St. Wolfgang and Walpertskirchen (2 each), as well as Isen, Ottenhofen and Wartenberg (1 each).
