The Education Committee convenes this morning (Wednesday) to approve the new curriculum recommended by the Corona Cabinet.
This is the second time the committee has convened this week and discussed a plan to reduce contacts in the education system against the background of the spread of the Omicron strain.
According to the new outline, in the red cities there will be learning from home, while in the fifth and sixth grades, where a verified Corona virus student is discovered, they will move to study online or in the open air, in grades 1-4 they will move to such study as much as possible.
In a discussion in the Education Committee held on Monday, committee members approved the outline that has existed to date, according to which seventh-twelfth graders in orange and red cities will study remotely, unless there is 70% with a green mark in the classroom.
Also, first-sixth graders in red authorities study as usual, while reducing contacts (unless there is 70 percent with a green mark. For that matter - until 9.1.22, those who received one vaccine are also considered to have a green mark).
This part of the outline is valid until Sunday at midnight, ie Monday, but today there is a new discussion of the outline.
