Opel
will begin local marketing of the facelift of Hgrndlnd, compact recreational vehicle company. The design takes a significant turn with elements we saw in the Mocha while the cabin also gets an advanced and screen-rich look. You can also expect a rechargeable hybrid version to join the local offering. An entirely new Opel Astra will also come to us, based on Peugeot's EMP2 platform. Beyond the look that expresses Opel's new design language, one can expect Peugeot Citroen's familiar propulsion units, including a hybrid propulsion unit.
From
BMW
we will see the latest 4 Series Gran Coupe that will arrive to us early next year, but the main good news, which is expected in BMW, are the company's fresh tram duo.
The iX, which we drove for the first time, is a huge and powerful recreational vehicle that is supposed to be used as BMW's electric flagship.
With the i4 BMW will seek to prove to the local market that driving pleasure can also be achieved on an electric platform.
Not a simple challenge for someone who used to flaunt the title of the absolute driving machine.
Jeep
Compass underwent a slight facelift several months ago and is due to reach us in the first quarter of 2022. Most of the change includes a slight design update from the outside and one more significant from the inside and now it also includes a new multimedia screen.
When it comes to propulsion, it is offered worldwide with five different propulsion units including a hybrid-rechargeable version.
The year 2022 should be the year in which Hyundai's luxury division,
Genesis
,
will begin
to meet the electric demand in the market.
In the first quarter we see here two completely electric models, first steps for Genesis in the field.
The first will be the GV80 EV that will arrive here at the beginning of the year and after that will also come the GV60EV electric compact recreational vehicle.
During the year, the electric GV70 that was introduced about a month ago is also expected to arrive here.
Toyota,
will bring the Igo X here at the end of the first quarter of next year.
The new Aigo presents a young and fresh look and uses the new Yaris platform.
It will replace here the previous Aigo which was the result of a collaboration between Toyota and PSA.
The propulsion unit is still based on the 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine when the box was replaced, in a continuous and new one.
You can expect a variety of coloring options that will further emphasize the design - even inside the cabin.
One of the special vehicles that will hit the local roads is the
Hyundai
Staria, which has a futuristic look and it will happen as early as next year. The oversized van with the unique design actually replaces the familiar and gray i800. The dimensions have grown, the paddle has moved forward and there is more room here whether it is for passengers (nine) or for luggage - depending on the version. The design of the cabin in the passenger versions is impressive and includes armchairs, similar, lighting in different shades and more. The Hyundai will probably come here with two engines (diesel and petrol) when these are mated to an automatic transmission.
Mitsubishi
Eclipse Cross, Mitsubishi's compact recreational vehicle, underwent a facelift a year ago and will also arrive in Israel soon. The redesigned Eclipse gets exterior design changes, including eliminating the horizontal lighting on the back door (to improve the field of view). The cabin received light touches, topped by a new, more accessible multimedia screen. Beyond the familiar supercharged 1.5L engine, the Eclipse will also be offered in a rechargeable hybrid version.
At
Mercedes,
the electric revolution is in full swing and will continue in 2022. At the beginning of the year, a new Mercedes EQE will be presented here, an all-terrain saloon car and one that has been built this way from the beginning.
Along with a tremendous technological variety it will also offer a driving range of 660 km.
It will also be joined in the first quarter by the EQB, which will offer electric propulsion in a compact leisure configuration with 7 seats.
Gasoline enthusiasts can breathe a sigh of relief with the arrival of the new Mercedes SL, where it will be possible to find, beyond the sunroof of course, also a supercharged V8 engine offered at different power levels - between 476 and 585 hp.
Subaru
recently introduced a facelift to the familiar Forrester.
Beyond these and other updates it is mated in some markets also to new propulsion units (hybrid, turbo).
It will continue to arrive in Israel with the proven 2.5L engine and with the upgrade of the capabilities of the advanced safety systems.
The electricity trend, which is obvious to everyone, is about to break out into the commercial field as well.
Citroen
Burlingo, which dominates the local tandem market, will be sold here in an electric version in the first quarter of next year.
We know its electric propulsion system from the other models of the concern with 136 hp and a range of about 300 km in this case.
Alongside her also the big sister, the Jumpy, will also get an electric version and will start moving all the local roads.
The fourth generation of the
Skoda
Fabia will also arrive in Israel soon.
This is a completely new generation, one that has grown significantly in size and now relies on technology and assemblies that can be found in other brands of the Volkswagen Group.
The driver's and cabin environment marks a significant leap forward and is reminiscent of Skoda's latest products.
When it comes to propulsion, it will be possible to find in the Fabia the well-known 1.0-liter engine at several power levels.
The safety specifications in the new generation are also quite comprehensive and include, among other things, 9 airbags.
In
Mazda
look forward to an updated version of their old recreational vehicle, CX5. This is a fairly light facelift, with modified bumpers, redesigned lighting units and a multimedia screen that has grown in size. Mazda also promises an improvement in noise insulation capacity. The paddle units remain as they were. In addition, new versions and updates to the 3 and CX30 models will also arrive in Israel.
At
Ford
you can expect a facelifted version of the Focus. The said facelift slightly changes the exterior appearance that was nice anyway and adds a generous multimedia screen (13.2 inches) in the cabin. In the mechanical sector it will be possible to meet here a surprising transition from a planetary box to such a robotic-dual-clutch. This will be mated to a supercharged 1.0-liter engine with the addition of a micro-hybrid system. On the more powerful side of the scale, a number of Ford F250 'Tremor' units are expected to hit Israeli roads and trails as early as the beginning of the year. This version, designed for hard off-road work, is equipped with, among other things, 35-inch tires, various suspensions, improved ventral angles, differential locks and more.
If we mentioned power - a number of units of
Ferrari
296 GTB have already been sold in Israel.
At a price of 2.3 million per unit it is a nice achievement to say the least.
Those sold are expected to land here at the end of the first quarter of 2022. The 296GTB is a Ferrari hybrid, one that can move on the power for a range of 25 km on the one hand and fly beyond 330 km / h with the 830 horsepower it produces on the other.
Peugeot
will start marketing the new boxer here.
The large commercial vehicle shares, as before, the platform with the Fiat Ducato.
Here too, the new generation is expected to offer an improvement in the supply of safety systems, a significantly upgraded cabin and also an electric version.
In addition, the Peugeot Ripper, based on the Citroen Burlingo, will be offered here.
The ripper is served in a different interpretation from the Burlingo and is more intended for passenger and leisure use.
It will also be offered here with electric propulsion.
The fifth generation of
Range Rover
will arrive in Israel at the beginning of the upcoming year. Like its predecessors, this generation also promises to set new records of comfort, splendor, grandeur and splendor. The new Range was introduced with a significant number of engines, all accompanied by a semi-hybrid system, when it is not yet clear which ones will reach the local market. The new Range is offered with a choice of six 6-cylinder engines (three petrol, three diesel) and V8 engine with the power of these range of engines ranging from 250 hp to 530 hp. And what about alternative motives that are almost necessary in this age? Over the next two years, plug-in hybrid versions as well as any electric version will be introduced. The plug-in versions will offer 80 km of pure electric range and will allow up to 140 km / h in electric power.
In
DS
, Citroen's luxury brand, will begin marketing DS4. The goal, as before, is to compete with the premium German compactness common in the market. It will do so while relying on Peugeot-Citroen's familiar EMP2 platform with the class adjustments required. The design is definitely unusual and the cabin also features elements we have come to know from the rest of the brand's models. The result is definitely eye-catching. Expect the familiar 1.2-liter and 1.6-liter propulsion units as well as a rechargeable hybrid version. The DS9's flagship will be manned by the brand - with dimensions that place it between the executive category and the saloon category, a powerful hybrid propulsion unit (360 hp) and a long list of equipment.
MG
, which was the best-selling electric car in Israel in 2020, will introduce to the local market the Marvel R. This is an electric recreational vehicle, designed from the beginning as such and looking quite impressive.
It offers two propulsion versions (180 and 288 hp), an up-to-date look, generous dimensions (280 cm wheelbase) and a respectable driving range (up to 402 km).
Along with the Marvel R, there will also be a facelifted version of the ZS EV - which was MG's electric breakthrough in Israel.
Ethan will also begin marketing the MG5, a station wagon that has also received a facelift recently.
