Police today (29th) conducted a large-scale search of "Stance News" and arrested 3 men and 3 women "Stance News" current or former senior officials in multiple districts at the same time.

The arrested persons included the former editor-in-chief of Position News Zhong Peiquan, the acting editor-in-chief Lin Shaotong, former directors Zhou Dazhi, Wu Aiyi, Fang Minsheng, and He Yunshi, while the deputy interview director of Position News Chen Langsheng assisted in the investigation.

The police operation started as early as 6 a.m. and mobilized more than 200 police officers. At 8 a.m. this morning, the acting editor-in-chief, Lin Shao-tong, was escorted back to the "Stance News" office in Kwun Tong with a large amount of glue. The box is expected to be used to hold evidence.

A search warrant includes the power to authorize the police to search and seize news materials.
