The strong wind on Tuesday evening carried away a group of spruce trees - one of the trees landed on the roof of a terraced house in Neubiberger Pappelstrasse.
Neubiberg
- Strong gusts of wind blew over a group of spruce trees in the Neubiberger Pappelstrasse on the evening of December 28th.
The clean-up work took several hours, according to the fire brigade's press office.
Around 8 p.m., three spruce trees near a row house on Pappelstrasse 42 were torn away by the storm.
One of the trees crashed on the roof of the building.
The Neubiberg volunteer fire brigade, led by commander Hannes Degen, came with 11 emergency services to remove the trees.

The cleanup was time consuming.
With the help of a crane from the Munich professional fire brigade and a turntable ladder from the Ottobrunn fire brigade, the Neubiberger were able to remove the spruce from the roof of the terraced house and remove the other two fallen trees.
The mission lasted from 8:13 p.m. to around 1:30 a.m.
As far as is known so far, the roof was not damaged.
