At the meeting, it was agreed to fund two transitional housing projects, namely the Kai Tak Mu'an Street project under the responsibility of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, and the conversion of vacant residential units in Ho Man Tin and Central at Lok Kwan Social Service.

The two projects involved a total of about 280 million yuan, which is expected to provide 564 units.

The "Subsidy Scheme to Support the Implementation of Transitional Housing Projects by Non-Government Organizations" The review committee agreed to subsidize the transitional housing project in Area 1B2 Mu'an Street, Kai Tak, proposed by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

The total funding of the plan exceeds 260 million yuan, and it is expected to provide about 478 units.

According to the website of the Transport and Housing Bureau, the project plans to construct two 4-storey buildings, which are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.

The project is adjacent to the luxury residential project "Tian Huan", adjacent to the home ownership scheme Kai Long Court and "Kai Tak No. 1", and on the other side is Tak Long Village.

The other approved projects are the conversion of vacant residential units at 11-19 Taiping Road and 22-24 Victory Road, and 72 Peel Street, Central, as proposed by the Lok Kwan Social Service Office.

The total funding of the plan is 17.2 million yuan, which is expected to provide about 86 units.
