After the fire in a construction trailer on Biomilchstrasse in Erling, the police are now looking for witnesses.
The site trailer, which was protected under a corrugated iron roof and had a canopy, went up in flames in the early hours of the morning shortly after 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
As the police announced yesterday, there was property damage worth around 10,000 euros.

In Erling, the residents speak of the youthful trailer. A hard core of 15 young people between the ages of 18 and 24. The youngsters have met in the trailer since their school days. Young Erlingers who not only know each other from school, but also from clubs. Children who grew up with traditional costumes or boys and girls and later with the youth fire brigade. "When we were still going to school, we met there every weekend," says Antonia Frey (18). It was her big brother Xaver (21) who set up the trailer with friends on their parents' farm and expanded it with a lot of passion. First at the new yard, then a larger version at the old yard, where nobody can feel disturbed when it gets louder. The meeting point was popular, also with young people from the surrounding villages.
The Frey family has had something like disillusionment since Tuesday. Nobody knows how the fire broke out. The Upper Bavaria Police Headquarters does not rule out a technical defect. There were no indications of possible perpetrators yesterday. The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal investigation department has nevertheless started investigations.
Erling's commandant Josef Pfänder says the power supply was turned off. The volunteers from the Erling fire brigade were on site with three vehicles. They were supported by the fire brigades from Machtlfing and Frieding. The people from Herrsching were also called in for support, but were able to withdraw quickly as rain played into the hands of the fire brigade. It is hard to imagine if the fire had broken out in a drier time or in summer, because there is a stable with young cattle not far away. "There was a lot of undergrowth around the site," Pfänder knows.
The commander suspects that the fire was discovered and reported early, possibly from the dairy premises.
In any case, quickly enough to prevent the fire from spreading.
Not much is left of the construction trailer, however - it was ablaze with the canopy when the fire brigade arrived.
