Glein Maxwell, the ex-partner of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was convicted last night (Thursday) of aiding Epstein sexually abusing young girls.
Maxwell was convicted by a 12-year-old jury on five of the six charges against her.
Maxwell, nicknamed "Epstein's Madame," was convicted of pimping the minor, moving a minor with the intent to pimp her for sex as well as three different counts of conspiracy to conceal evidence.
Maxwell won one of the incentives to encourage a minor to travel for the purpose of pimping out illicit sex with an adult.
Judge Allison Nathan has not set a date for sentencing, and Maxwell could face up to 65 years in prison for her actions.
Maxwell did not respond prominently to the reading of the verdict and was left to sit with a sealed face.
The jury, made up of six men and six women, discussed the decision for 40 hours.
Attorney General Damian Williams said in response to the ruling: "The derelict for justice was too long, yet justice is done today. I want to commend the courage of the girls, now mature women, who came out of the shadows into the courtroom. Their courage and willingness to stand up to those who abused them He is the one who brought the result that was obtained today. "
