Fire at the Lázaro Cárdenas Refinery of PEMEX in Mexico

The Civil Protection Secretariat of Veracruz reported that Thursday through its verified Twitter account that a fire has been registered at the Lázaro Cárdenas Refinery in the municipality of Minatitlán, in Veracruz.

The Secretariat added that the fire is under control and so far there are no reports of injured people.

The statement adds that the fire does not represent a danger to the population and elements of the state company Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), Firefighters and Navy are in the place.
