The Dominican government announced this Monday the application of a fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine, optionally, starting on January 31.
From that point on, the third dose will be mandatory to enter public and private spaces.
While the government explained that these two decisions were motivated by the presence in the country of the omicron variant of the covid-19 virus, these measures have generated conflicting positions in the country.
