Starnberg - The corona pandemic and the spread of the Omikron variant are also affecting local public transport.
On some trips on the MVV ExpressBus line X900 (Buchenau - Fürstenfeldbruck - Alling - Gilching - Starnberg), short-term staff shortages caused by illness lead to unforeseeable cancellations.
In order to be able to offer passengers a reliable service and security in travel planning again, the district office, MVV and transport company reacted quickly and implemented a replacement timetable with minor cuts.
According to a press release from the District Office, this is expected to be valid until Sunday, January 9th.
For the time being, every sixth journey every 20 minutes on route X900 from Monday to Saturday will be canceled.
Every sixth bus trip is canceled
Specifically, these are journeys at 6:05 am, 8:05 am and so on from “Buchenau (S)” and at 5:05 am, 7:05 am and later routes from “Starnberg (S)”.
According to the current status, the line will continue to be served on Sundays as usual at hourly intervals.
The replacement timetable for line X900 is available on the district office's homepage at www.lk-starnberg.de/busx900 and at www.mvv-muenchen.de.
It is also stored in the MVV's digital information media (as an app for Android and iOS as well as on the web at mvv-auskunft.de).
