In a letter issued by the head of the Catholic Church to his followers on Sunday, Pope Francis revealed that couples who want to succeed in their marriage must adopt three words regularly.
The letter is intended to offer advice to families who find themselves precisely during the Christian holidays under increasing restrictions because of the current wave of Corona virus, and although by virtue of his status he can not marry, clarified that he has a recipe for a successful marriage and that he reveals it as a Christmas present.
He says that whenever you encounter difficulties in a relationship, "think of the advice I give you about the importance of the three little words: please, thank you and sorry."
He added that "after every argument, do not let the day end without you completing it."
"For some couples, the conditions in which they lived due to isolation restrictions in the past year were particularly difficult, and the problems that existed even earlier were exacerbated, creating conflicts that reached an almost impossible situation," he wrote.
"Many even broke up because the relationship ran into an unmanageable crisis. I want them to feel my closeness and love too."
Great deals on spas and pampering
Francis spurred people who find themselves in a difficult marriage or are afraid of it, to enlist the help of their family or friends to solve the problems.
For those who are already seriously considering parting, he urged them to repeatedly try to find a solution by understanding the other side, because "the act of forgiveness heals every wound."
