Italy recorded a big jump in the number of new infections with the Corona virus, exceeding the threshold of 100,000 cases for the first time, as a daily toll.
In a statement, the Italian Ministry of Health indicated that 126,888 new infections and 156 deaths from the virus were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to more than 5 million and 981 thousand cases, and the total deaths of 137,247 cases.
In Greece, the health authorities recorded a record number of Corona injuries, which amounted to 35,580 new injuries, in addition to 72 deaths during the past 24 hours.
And the Greek Ministry of Health indicated in a statement that the total number of HIV infections in the country rose to 1,170,293, while the number of deaths reached 20,708.
