When was the last time you were on a set?
"Half a year ago, when we finished filming season 8 of 'Sabri Rejoicing.' "Every season we finished filming the players asked if there would be another season, and we always said 'there is no situation, it will not happen', and here we are for ten years like that. To them? "Robbie Duanias and I have been creating 'Sabri Meran' for ten years together. At first the reviews were harsh, and the truth is that they are still harsh, but at the moment it's mostly entertaining, though not the most pleasant. I understand the critics' work, the tone was too harsh at first And there were harsh and exaggerated sentences. 'Sabri' is a sitcom, not an elite genre that critics like to like, nor do I claim to be flawless. When was the last time you visited your parents?
"Once every two weeks I visit them in Petah Tikva. The whole family comes, it's a tradition that is important to me, and I also love my mother's food. I grew up in Petah Tikva and was an unfunny, shy and insecure child. From the age of 12 I was in drama classes and even then nothing opened. I only opened on stage, and it was clear to me that I wanted to be an actor. At the age of 16, I already knew I would go to Beit Zvi, and I'm not ashamed to stop going to high school math classes, because I knew it was a waste of time for me. I went to theater classes in Tel Aviv. Work with a livelihood and experience all the usual worries, but today they are my biggest fans. My mother cuts articles, in fact she cuts everything my name appears in. My parents take reviews personally, and I feel they bear the burden of insult. When someone writes something bad 'Explaining playful' I actually hear Mom say to Dad 'need to call the reviewer and say some harsh words to him.' They do not understand why if everyone loves the series, they still write about it like that.

"It changes with age. I used to go out a lot, bars and alcohol were the pastime then, but today it is no longer relevant to my life. I spend time in cafes and restaurants or go to a show, a movie and a museum. I believe in theater, although there is a feeling it needs refreshment, but "I still like classics, for example Shakespeare. There's a new production of 'Hamlet' now that I'll have fun going to see. When was the last time you did sports?
"Today, and every day. I'm addicted to CrossFit and train at the CrossFit Boxing Institute. It's a challenging sport that involves lifting heavy weights and includes lots of high pulse exercises, a really beautiful nightmare. I have been training every day for six years, including Friday and Saturday, unless my body says D. It's training in groups with a coach, and there is training every day and a training program.
"CrossFit is something that changed my perception of life, because it pushes you far beyond the edge. You think you can do 100 percent, but there you find you can 200 percent. When was the last time you were jealous?
"I get jealous when I see a very good series. I get jealous of the actors, the screenwriters, everyone. In 2015, when they sold 'Sabri Mernan' to Sony Production, we were in the US because we were invited to see the episodes.

The budgets are wow, and they have a screenwriting room which is an amazing thing.

"I used to be a nervous man, but age, experience and quitting smoking changed me. I quit smoking at 42, and smoked a lot until then. Sometime you realize it's all a matter of self-control and choice. I quit because I got to two boxes a day, so I went to rehab and quit all at once. "I had a deep depression after, and I also gained weight, but after that I recovered and since then I have not looked back. "I failed completely at work.
