On Wednesday (December 29th) the ZDF “Rosenheim-Cops” winter special was broadcast.
Now the production company is reporting historic news.
Munich - 90 minutes of thriller fun.
Two murders.
And as a perpetrator in the end ... hold on, that should not be revealed here, after all, many will want to watch the special in the ZDF media library.
On December 29th
the "Rosenheim-Cops" feature film "Murderous Society" with star guest Michaela May was broadcast on linear television.
The missing Sebastian Herrling, a passionate climber (or is he?), Is found in a lake.
The investigations lead the commissioners Anton Stadler (Dieter Fischer) and Sven Hansen (Igor Jeftić) into a very fine company ...
"Rosenheim-Cops" (ZDF): Winter Special brings historic ratings
The winter special of the "Rosenheim Cops" lured millions in front of the TV screens.
And the production company Bavaria Film is now reporting cheering news: "Primetime special brings all-time record for 'The Rosenheim Cops'", she headlines.
The film has "attracted the largest audience in the history of the 'Rosenheim cops'", it is said, "historical 6.43 million people" had followed it.
That corresponds to a market share of 21.7 percent.
Among the 14 to 49 year olds, 0.68 million people accounted for a 9.6 percent market share.
With that, the 90-minute movie even topped the highest value of the winter special “Shot Drive to Death” (6.14 million).
The “Rosenheim Cops” had only cracked the six million mark this year for the first time, the regular episode “With three is one too many” reportedly switched on 6.03 million people.
"Rosenheim-Cops" (ZDF): Weather in the winter special conditionally wintry
So now the special ensures historical value.
Even if the backdrop of “Murderous Society” is not really wintry - thick flakes only fall at Marie Hofer's (Karin Thaler) farm.
Why the half-winter backdrop?
The background is probably a simple one: You can't choose the weather for the shoot, and at least the protagonists wear thick scarves.
A star who dropped out, however, has a new hairstyle, who was seen again in the winter special.
