The year 2022 will begin tonight at midnight, and meanwhile in many countries around the world have already begun the celebrations in honor of the new civil year, which are taking place in the shadow of an outbreak of Omicron strain in many places in the world.
The first to receive the New Year are the islands of the Pacific Islands, including Aline, Tonga, Samoa and part of New Zealand.
An hour away, they will be joined by other countries such as Eastern Russia and islands located in the territories of Australia and the United States.
In Australia, authorities said the daily number of verified viruses had reached a new high of more than 32,000 verified today, just days after crossing the 10,000 verified for the first time.
Similarly, in the Philippines, the authorities warned of the expected increase in cases of infection, with a record of more than two months verified in the background.
