A young man in his 20s was seriously injured last night (Friday) by a security guard after he opened fire on a club on Histadrut Boulevard in Haifa.
He was evacuated by MDA to Rambam Hospital in the city, where he was anesthetized and respirated.
Police said the background to the incident was unclear.

"Police have launched a search for another operation, along with a collection of findings at the scene, as part of an investigation that has been opened," it was reported.
The security guard, a 46-year-old resident of Acre, was detained for questioning.

"We saw a young man in his twenties lying on the road unconscious," said MDA paramedic Ayman Arnaut, who is wearing a MDA motorcycle with me Mazur.
"He suffered a penetrating injury. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment that included anesthesia and resuscitation and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing treatment when his condition was severe and unstable."
