Over 50 children looked for missing enchanted forest inhabitants, met with snowmen and danced with grandfather Frost and his granddaughter, the snow girl, in the Adolf-Hölzel-Haus.

Families of Russian descent from Dachau and the surrounding area gathered to enjoy the interactive play "Magic Forest" and to celebrate the traditional Russian New Year in compliance with the current 2G regulation. This time the Munich theater studio “Triangel” supported the celebration with its performance “Magic Forest”. The play is based on a Romanian folk tale about snowmen, grandfather Frost and his granddaughter. One day Grandfather Frost felt very lonely and that's why he used his magical powers to create his granddaughter, the snow girl, out of a snow globe.

Taking into account the current situation, RuBiKI wanted to give at least the little ones the opportunity to enjoy the run-up to Christmas without worrying, to meet the “real” grandfather Frost and the popular fairy tale characters.

By the way, it is not Christmas, but the New Year's Eve (New Year's Eve) that is a highlight in the Russian festival calendar, because with the revolution of 1917, the Christian Christmas festival was abolished and certain New Year's celebrations were adopted.

Although Christmas on January 7th (according to the Julian calendar) has been an official holiday since 1991, the New Year celebrations remain the highest holiday in Russia to this day.

Instead of the Christ Child, the characters from Russian folklore come to the festival - grandfather Frost and his granddaughter, the snow girl.
