"Even if Omikron will be difficult again, we'll get through it," said Bavaria's Prime Minister in the speech that was spread in advance.

In the end, vaccination is the only real protection in this pandemic, said Söder and emphasized: "Even if you have to be vaccinated three or four times - what is a small peek against protection against a potentially serious or even fatal disease?"
