At least twelve people were killed in a stampede that took place during a ceremony in front of a temple that flocked to tens of thousands of pilgrims in northern India today.
"At least 12 people were killed and 13 others injured in a stampede that took place inside a temple in the Indian-administered part of Kashmir," a government official told AFP, adding that the toll could be higher, as the road leading to the temple was crowded with visitors who came.
