After the rains on the weekend: The winter weather continues | Israel Today

After the night rains: The

weather today (Saturday) is expected to be cloudy to partly cloudy. 

Following the rains, a strong flow began in the Grofit and Paran streams in the Negev and the Arava.

Parts of Route 40 were blocked, including from the Pebbles junction to the south to Nafha Prison following the flood.

Following this, police officers arrived at the scene and directed the traffic.

According to the Meteorological Service's website in Israel, local rains are expected in the south and east of the country and in the center of the country.

As a result, there is a risk of flooding in the streams.

Towards night cloudy to partly cloudy weather is expected.

Local rains are still expected, mostly in the south and center.

Also, there may be thunderstorms and streams in the Negev and the Judean Desert there will still be a fear of floods.

Tomorrow cloudy to partly cloudy weather is expected.

Local rains are expected in most parts of the country.

Towards evening, the rain will intensify from the north to the Negev, and will be accompanied by thunderstorms.

On Monday the winter weather will continue with local rains during the morning.

During the day the rains will gradually decrease.

On Tuesday no significant change in temperatures is expected.

Local rains are still expected in the north and center.
