During the past year, the branch of the Sweida Savings Bank and its office in Salkhad granted loans worth 5 billion and 560 million pounds to low-income people working in the state, military personnel, retirees, and those with scientific and liberal professions.
The bank's branch manager, Mamoun Shuja, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the bank witnessed a good movement of lending, and the number of borrowers reached 4760, including 3,989 borrowers from the branch headquarters and 771 borrowers from Salkhad's office.
Shuja pointed out that the rate of implementation of the lending plan exceeded 90 percent, and loans were granted to everyone who met the necessary conditions in an easy way.
The branch of the Savings Bank in As-Suwayda and its office in Salkhad had granted in 2020 loans worth $1.874 billion to people with limited incomes and those with scientific and liberal professions.
