As-Suwayda-Sana
The branch of the General Organization for Seed Propagation in As-Suwayda has completed the contracting operations with farmers to grow the wheat crop to implement the propagation production plan for the next agricultural season.
The director of the branch, Engineer Solaf Al-Saad, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the contracted areas for cultivation amounted to about 16,171 dunums, which included lands in stable rainy areas, and 259 tons of seeds of Duma 1 and Sham 3 varieties were provided for cultivation.
Al-Saad pointed out that the branch will continue to sell wheat seed to farmers for the current season to implement the agricultural plan, as the quantities sold have reached 1471 tons to date.
