Dozens of Palestinians suffocated this evening as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Wafa news agency quoted Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, as saying that the occupation forces stormed the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, and attacked the Palestinians by firing poison gas canisters, causing dozens of them to suffocate.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the occupation forces' suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddum demonstration against settlements and demanding the opening of the village street, which was closed for more than 17 years, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
