The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, warned that Iran's enemies would take any wrong step towards it.
"Any wrong step that might be taken by the enemies, the Iranian armed forces will respond quickly, firmly and destructively," the Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Safavi as saying in today's statements.
On the other hand, Safavi pointed to the success of the mission of the Iranian naval vessels, which sailed for 150 days without docking in any port, and said that “the United States and its agents made great threats with the aim of thwarting this mission, but it reached its destination,” explaining that “this success is an indication that Iran has turned today into a regional superpower.”
Safavi noted the role of Iranian naval vessels and destroyers in escorting Iranian merchant ships and oil tankers and securing them in international waters.
