The mountain rescue service Benediktbeuern had to move out to an injured person on Thursday evening.
Two avalanches that had escaped made the mission difficult.
Benediktbeuern - The volunteers were alerted on Thursday at 5.47 p.m. by the Oberland control center.
A man in his mid-50s had torn his Achilles tendon in a hut in Lainbachtal.
In a conversation with the reporter, he said, among other things, that the access to the Lainbachtal was made more difficult by two smaller avalanche cones.
Rescuers dig passage for the quad
Two mountain rescuers moved out as a group with the quad (ATV).
Four other emergency services followed with the ambulance.
"The snow leakage in the Lainbachtal made it impossible to pass through shortly before the deployment site," reports the mountain rescue service.
Some of the emergency services continued the way on foot, while the others began to dig a passage for the quad.
Despite the difficult conditions, the helpers reached the injured quickly and took over the first aid.
Injured people brought safely to the valley
The patient was first taken to the mountain rescue vehicle by ATV and then on to the Mariabrunn hiking car park.
There he was taken over by the BRK ambulance team.
After about two hours, the operation for the Benediktbeuern mountain rescue service was over.
