In Hohenkammer, the municipal council has decided on two charging points for e-cars.

“Something is happening,” says the mayor happily.

Hohenkammer

- The municipality of Hohenkammer is in a hurry to put the first official charging station for electric cars into operation to support the energy transition.

Mayor Mario Berti announced that the foundation for the charging station at the Rathausparkplatz had already been concreted and that it could be completed in a timely manner.

Two charging points for the place were decided in the municipal council.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The location at the town hall was undisputed because the construction did not involve any obstacles.

A second charging station should be included in the planning when the bus stops in the center of the village between the residential / commercial building and the meadow are converted to be barrier-free.

In the course of this, new parking spaces are to be created along the church wall - and with it two more charging points for electric vehicles.

The municipality has already received approval from the Freising Citizens' Energy Cooperative for both locations.

Book cell will also be realized soon

“Something is happening here,” says Mayor Berti, not without pride.

In the vicinity of the town hall, he reckons that in addition to the e-charging station, the book cell can also be implemented in a timely manner.

The preparatory work has also been completed for this measure, which has already been decided.

The lighting of the book booth is also not a problem because the energy can be diverted from a street lamp with little effort.
