Pedestrian causes accident: five injured in Bad Heilbrunn

Several slightly injured people were involved in a traffic accident on New Year's Eve in Bad Heilbrunn.

The whole thing was triggered by a pedestrian

Bad Heilbrunn - According to the police, an 83-year-old woman from Heilbrunn crossed Tölzer Straße on Friday morning at around 10:45 a.m. without paying attention to the traffic.

A 23-year-old Audi driver from Unterneukirchen (Altötting district), who was traveling in the direction of Bichl, then braked, swerved to the left and was able to avoid a collision with the pedestrian.

Braking process noticed too late

The following driver of an Audi A 6, a 22-year-old from Emmerting (Altötting district), however, noticed the braking process too late and hit the Audi in front.

All four occupants of the two vehicles were slightly injured as a result of the impact.

Pedestrian falls in shock and injures herself

The 83-year-old was also slightly injured.

Because, according to the police, she was so frightened by the collision that she fell backwards.

The pedestrian and the Audi driver were taken to the hospital for care.

The Emmertinger's Audi had to be towed.

The police estimate the property damage at around 5,000 euros.
