Robbers randomly wounded people in Kowloon City today (2nd), resulting in 4 citizens being injured.

A 37-year-old man holding a two-way permit suddenly kicked a 60-year-old female passerby and grabbed his mobile phone with his foot in the afternoon, and then injured a male passerby trying to subdue him with his mobile phone. The meat stall grabbed the knife and walked around Kowloon City with the knife. When he crossed the road at the junction of Yaqianwei Road and Houwang Road, he suddenly rushed to a passing BMW motorhome and smashed the windshield with the knife. In the parking theory, the suspect actually opened the door and attacked with a fist. The two sides were entangled on the road for minutes and a half.

The suspect abandoned his sharp knife and escaped, but did not stop committing the crime. He actually boarded a tenement building on Prince Edward Road West, burned the sundries in front of the sub-house, walked to the clock villa and attacked the male staff. He hid in the room and tried to set the sheets on fire again.

The police arrived at the scene and arrested him. The case is now classified as theft, robbery, criminal damage, wounding and arson.

The arrested 37-year-old man surnamed Feng came to Hong Kong to visit relatives with a two-way permit in September last year. He can stay in Hong Kong until April this year and he also has a fixed residence.

He and all the victims in the case did not know each other. The police initially believed that the suspect had planned the robbery and did not plan the subsequent attack.

The incident occurred at 1:12 pm today (2nd) when he suddenly kicked a 67-year-old female passerby on Carpenter Road near South Point Road in Kowloon City, and then snatched the mobile phone from her hand.

When a 60-year-old male passerby tried to stop the suspect, he was attacked by his mobile phone.

The suspect then abandoned the phone on the ground and hurried to escape in the direction of Yaqianlong Road.

The female victim was unwilling to be robbed of her mobile phone and followed the suspect for about 30 meters. She unexpectedly turned around and attacked her again.

The suspect then walked to a meat stall at No. 75-77 Yaqianlong Road and snatched a beef knife placed on the butcher stand at the door. Staff and passers-by rushed to avoid him.

The suspect was walking along Yaqianlong Road towards Yaqianwei Road with a knife. After walking about 600 meters to the junction of Houwang Road and crossing the road, he suddenly stopped a passing BMW RV.

Nearby CCTV footage can be seen, the suspect slashed with a knife, smashed the windshield, and then discarded the knife on the ground.

Upon seeing the parking theory, the 27-year-old male driver did not expect the suspect to open the right front door and repeatedly attacked the driver with his fists. The two sides entangled at one time and hit the pedestrian road from the center of the road to the railing.

The assailant finally struggled to escape and left his wallet. The BMW driver followed suit and witnessed the suspect breaking into a tenement building near Wang Road, No. 388 Prince Edward Road West, and immediately notified the police.

At 1:32 in the afternoon, the residents of the subordinate room on the 5th floor of the tenement house smelled burning odor from outside the unit. When they opened the door to check, they were surprised that shoes, umbrellas and other sundries were set on fire. They immediately extinguished them and called the police for help.

It turned out that the assailant did not stop the attack after abandoning the knife. After entering the tenement building, he set fire outside the sub-district unit, then broke into a clock villa on the second floor and attacked a 69-year-old male staff member who was cleaning with a trash can. Then he hid in one of the rooms and tried to set the bed on fire again.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the officers of the West Kowloon Stormtrooper secured the suspect's location and immediately subdued him and arrested him.

The assailant was covered by a black cloth and was taken to an ambulance on a stretcher bed.

A total of 4 people were injured in the case. Fortunately, all were slightly injured.

The case was handed over to the Crime Squad of the Kowloon City Police District to take over the investigation. Detectives investigated the incident at various locations, reorganized the case, and officers from the Forensic Division came to the scene to search for evidence.

The detectives also found two mobile phones in the pit at the scene of the first crime, and they are investigating who owns them.

The cases are now classified as theft, robbery, criminal damage, wounding and arson.

The police urged that citizens who have information about the above-mentioned cases can contact 3661 7855 and the 1st Squad of the Kowloon City Police District Crime Squad.
